Pato: I want to win at Milan

Alexandre Pato is delighted with AC Milan’s recent turnaround of form, and insists he will help Leonardo win silverware at the club.

After a dismal start to the season, Milan are now fourth in the Serie A table and are at the summit of their Champions League group.

However, the Rossoneri are still nine points behind Inter Milan, as well as a mere point in front of Marseille in Europe's elite competition.

Pato, for his part, has struck gold in the penalty area, and is keen on maintaining Milan's recent winning run with goals.

"I want to win the league and the Champions League, to always be doing well at Milan and to give my best. I am very happy here," he told Sky Sports Italia.

"I'm doing well on the right hand side [of Milan's 4-3-3 formation] and I'm doing my job for the coach and for all of my team-mates. I want to go back and help my team-mates in defence, I'm happy to do my work for them and for the team."

Milan visit Lazio in the next round of Serie A fixtures, and will be aiming to dish out another 3-0 drubbing of the Rome outfit. However, while the Biancocelesti have gone on a winless streak recently, Pato is still cautious about the Rossoneri's chances.

"We know that it's a difficult game, but we have to do what we have been doing in training this week. We will go to Rome in order to get the three points because they are very important for us."
