Diego: Juventus can reach objectives
Diego has praised his club, Juventus, after their 5-2 thumping of strugglers Atalanta over the weekend.
Juve have cut Inter Milan's lead in the Serie A table to five points, and Diego has called on the Bianconeri to build on their recent win.
"We have plenty of faith for our next games. We can catch Inter, we have to believe in ourselves. We know how to play football and we can reach our objectives." Diego told Tuttosport.
"Inter are our adversary for the Scudetto. I want to win with Juventus, and I don't mind the title or the Champions League."
The Brazilian playmaker has struggled in front of goal this season, but he found the back of the net in the game against La Dea.
"It was nice to score, but more important to have won. I missed scoring, but it was a perfect night in Bergamo," added Diego.
"You have to be mature as you know that sooner or later the goals will arrive."
While it was nice to score over the weekend, Diego says he prefers to set up his team-mates to score.
"I am not here just to score goals. I will leave that to Amauri and [David] Trezeguet who are both really good at that," added the former Werder Bremen man.
