Thiago Silva: Milan played with personality
Thiago Silva has declared that he is delighted with the goal he scored against Lazio on Sunday which helped AC Milan to a 2-1 victory.
The Brazilian admitted that he was teased endlessly by his team-mates regarding the own goal he scored in the match, with the Milan players 'acknowledging' that the defender had bagged a brace.
"I scored an important goal for the team and for the group," declared Thiago Silva to the Milan Channel.
"In the dressing room they teased me as they said I scored a brace [he laughed].
"The important thing is that we played well and with personality. It's difficult to play against teams like Lazio who possess quality players, who shoot well, but in the end we won and this is the most important thing.
"With regards to myself, I'm happy to work well, everyone speaks well about me and I'm happy about this," he concluded.
