Agent: Brighi staying at Roma

AS Roma midfielder Matteo Brighi’s agent, Vanni Puzzolo, has dismissed reports that his client is moving to Napoli.

Puzzolo, on the contrary, only stated that Brighi is happily settled in the capital, and has developed a close relationship with the people at the club.

"I have not had any contact with Napoli," the agent told Radio Gol. "I really know absolutely nothing. He wants to remain at Roma, as he is more than happy there."

Puzzolo has added that his client has suffered a spat of injuries, which has hindered his participation in matches.

He continued, "Matteo has had problems with his knee, and only now he is finding some form. This is the only reason behind why he has not played a lot. He will have to find the right rhythm to be able to play at his best.

"The changing of coach has influenced him minimally, as he has the utmost faith in [Claudio] Ranieri," the agent concluded.
