Trezeguet praises Juve coach
Juventus forward David Trezeguet has lauded new coach Ciro Ferrara as the reason for his recent purple patch.
The Frenchman was also critical of former coach Claudio Ranieri who he said "never considered me to be important".
Trezeguet endured a terrible run of form last season, partly due to injuries and partly due to a loss of confidence. That seems to have changed under Ferrara who seems to have placed more trust in the ace striker.
Speaking to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Trezeguet also revealed that "injuries to [Vincenzo] Ianquinta and [Alessandro] Del Piero have given me a chance too." He picked the three best goals he has scored for Juventus.
"The first against Panathinaikos and the one against Milan, which was for the Scudetto [later revoked through Calciopoli]. Also, my first one at San Siro."
