Defender Daniele Bonera has said that AC Milan can still achieve their targets, despite a poor start.

Bonera has stressed that the Rossoneri's upcoming matches will determine the direction in which their season will head, both domestically as well as in Europe.

Milan have gradually got their season back on track after a poor start to the season and Bonera, who is currently out due to injury, feels that there is still time for Leonardo's outfit to achieve their goals for the year.

Speaking to the Milan Channel, the 28 year old felt "there will be another tour de force because playing every three days is not easy.".

"However, the team and the coach have done well because they have measured out their strengths, making the right substitutions without ever changing the efficiency of the team.

"Maybe we did not start well, but we have proven that this squad, with a bit more amalgamation, can still give a lot and can obtain great results."

Milan currently find themseleves at number three in the Serie A table, two points behind Juventus and seven points behind arch rivals Inter.
