Galliani: Roma match was the key
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has identified the comeback victory over Roma as the turning point of Milan's season.
Milan had a less than stellar start to the Serie A season and against Roma were trailing with just three minutes on the clock thanks to a calamitous mistake by Thiago Silva.
However, Galliani believes that the team are still riding on the confidence they gained from a sterling second half comeback when goals from Ronaldinho and Pato gave them the three points.
"Half-time in that game won't go down in history, but at that time we were 13th and were losing 1-0," Galliani told Sky Sport 24.
"Since then the wind has changed and the only two draws that we have had were with the great Real Madrid and with Napoli, where we were winning until the 90th minute.
"We could have taken everything but things are going well in any case."
Milan are currently in third place in Serie A, although they remain seven points behind runaway leaders and city rivals Inter.
