Cagliari striker Nene has given his endorsement to AC Milan’s Alexandre Pato, saying that he is one of the best players on the planet.

Pato has improved tremendously under Leonardo's system, scoring many important goals.

However, the 'Duck' was left out in the cold by Brazil coach Carlos Dunga. Nene thinks that Dunga made a mistake by snubbing Pato.

The Islanders' hitman will square off with the Milan striker this weekend and took the chance to praise the youngster.

"It will be an honour to play against Pato for me. He is one of the strongest in the world. He is really quick," Nene told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
