Dinho takes aim at Ancelotti

AC Milan playmaker, Ronaldinho, has revealed the reason for his resurgence and it involves Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti who was coach of Milan when Ronaldinho joined them did not give the Brazilian ace a leading role as many expected.

The former Barcelona player's form dipped even further as a result and many doubted if Ronaldinho had any more gas in the tank.

However, in the last few games for Milan, Ronaldinho looked to be back at his best and he singled out Leonardo as the main reason.

Speaking to Milan's official magazine, Forza Milan, he said: "What changed for me after Leonardo came in for Ancelotti? I am playing now!

"I have adapted more to Italian football, I can speak the language, I feel better physically and my mind is worry-free.

"I have clicked with Leonardo and I'm happy, although from time to time he takes me off before the end of matches.

"Working with him is stimulating. ‘Leo' is an enthusiast by nature and conveys his energy to us.

"He is a prepared tactician who will prove the club made the right choice in hiring him."

Milan currently sit third in Serie A and was instrumental in their Champions League win at the Bernabeu over Real Madrid.
