Panucci expects a fight at Franchi
Parma defender Christian Panucci is not expecting a walk in the park at this weekend clash against Fiorentina.
He readily admitted to Datasport that if the team wanted to remain in top tier, then matches of this level were to be expected. The Italian national is also assured by the fact that the team was not impaired by any injuries and is capable of achieving good results.
Speaking to Datasport, Panucci said, "It will be a tough match, like all the other games we have played and will play in the future."
"These are battles we must face to get to our target of 40 points, and on Saturday, we will need to suffer.
"It will be in a stadium full of people, and against a team that plays in the Champions League.
"We are all healthy, and therefore, have the ability to do well."
Currently the Crociati are residing quite comfortably at seventh place, just a point behind Fiorentina who are fourth on the table. The only thing that separates the two sides is the goal difference, and Parma's seemingly leaky defense.
