Stevan Jovetic has confirmed that he has no idea when he can return to play for Fiorentina, as his toe injury hasn’t been resolved.

Jovetic's return has been delayed time and again, but the striker is adamant that he is trying his best to return to playing.

"I still feel a bit of discomfort in my foot, I don't know when I will return," he told Radio Blu.

"I'm doing everything that I can to come back as soon as possible, but I still don't know when I will be able to play because unfortunately I still feel some pain.

"It's been some time since I played and it's hard, but I want to be in good condition before I return."

Jovetic was recently awarded the Premio Massimo Banchi for being the best Under-25 squad player and was thoroughly grateful for the honour.

"Personally I don't think I had a great championship last year, since I didn't find myself in much space, but I have got confidence this season thanks to goals at the start.

"However, I'm really happy and proud to have won it, because some great players have received it like Manuel Rui Costa."
