Galliani: No rush over Pippo
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed that he is not rushing to extend Filippo Inzaghi’s contract with AC Milan.
Inzaghi's contract runs out next summer, and Milan have yet to start talks with Inzaghi over a new deal. The striker has hinted that he may quit the club if the Rossoneri do not do anything soon.
"I will decide when I quit football, but one thing is for sure; I will carry on playing even if it's not for Milan," Inzaghi told the show Chiambretti Night.
Galliani implicitly gave his reply to 'Pippo' in his interview with the press, reminding the hitman who runs the show at the San Siro.
"We have to wait until the spring to look at all the deals that expire in June," Galliani told the press.
"We will see what happens, but by that time we need to be certain that we are in the Champions League."
