Prandelli: We weren't lucky
Fiorentina coach, Cesare Prandelli, blamed the international break for his side's 3-2 loss to Parma.
The two teams played out an exciting game of attacking football with five goals scored between them.
Going into the game sitting on fourth place, Prandelli is not worried that the shock loss will slow the momentum of his team.
Speaking to Sky after the game, Prandelli said: "We were going through a good moment, and the break may have caused us some problems,
"We weren't lucky, but we have no regrets, Parma did really well. All three of their goals came from our mistakes, we made errors in defence, in football it can happen.
"On [Davide] Lanzafame's goal we just had to wait for [Christian] Panucci and instead we tried to play the offside trap but it was useless. Tonight's defeat reminded me of the one against Lecce last season. Too bad because when it was 2-2 I hoped we could win."
Prandelli will not shift his focus to the crunch match against Ligue 1 giants, Lyon in the UEFA Champions League game that is scheduled for midweek.
