Di Canio: Lazio have no leader

Former Lazio star, Paolo Di Canio, slammed the current crop of players at the club who are in a huge slump at the moment.

Lazio have gone ten games without a victory and the situation at the club is getting worse.

Di Canio reckons the negative situation is caused by poor management.

Speaking on Radio Kiss Kiss, Di Canio declared:"Looking at the crisis Lazio are in, it is clear the club are at fault for a number of poor decisions,

"The club had enough time to understand its errors, but they didn't act and now the side is without a leader. No-one is ready to sacrifice themselves for the good of Lazio.

"I also think leaving out [Goran] Pandev and [Cristian] Ledesma without selling or replacing them was a grave error.

"The team has no character and when they don't win their heads drop instead of looking to react. There isn't even a tactical identity within the side."

Davide Ballardini's men will take on Napoli on Sunday, hoping to get maximum points and put a stop to their poor run of form.
