Thiago Motta declared that he is proud to be a member of Jose Mourinho's Internazionale side.

The Brazilian defensive midfielder was signed from Genoa and has made a good start to his Nerazzurri career.

His latest contribution was to help Inter secure maximum points against Bologna on Saturday and is already looking forward to the Champions League tie in midweek against his former club Barcelona.

Speaking to inter.it, Motta said:"The entire team played a good game and now we can go to Barcelona with more serenity,

"However, it wasn't easy, it's never easy, especially when you face a team which is placed well on the pitch with three very good attackers. Still, we played carefully and with concentration.

"I'm proud to be in this team and to face a great team like Barcelona on Tuesday. We have three days to prepare ourselves in the best possible way."

With their win over Bologna, Inter are now eight points ahead of Juventus who play Udinese on Sunday.
