No more excuses for Mourinho
Reports in Italy claim that the relationship between Inter President Massimo Moratti and Jose Mourinho is at an all-time low.
Moratti hired Mourinho just over a year ago to end Inter's 44 year wait for Europe's biggest prize, but despite continuing Inter's dominance of Serie A his European results have shown little in the way of progress.
The Nerazzurri were soundly beaten by Spanish giants Barcelona on Tuesday night and have now won just one of their last nine games in Europe.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Moratti is most concerned with the lack of style and personality shown by the team, especially when facing the continents big clubs.
In four games against Manchester United and Barcelona, Inter have won none, scored none and drawn 0-0 on two occasions.
La Gazzetta expects Moratti and Mourinho to have a meeting to clarify things this week, as Inter enter a crucial phase of their season.
The Nerazzurri face Fiorentina at the weekend, then Juventus and finally Rubin Kazan in a game that will determine whether they progress in Europe or not.
