Juventus midfield maestro Diego admits something isn't working after their Champions League defeat to Bordeaux.

The Old Lady travelled to France knowing that a win would have put them through to the last 16 of the competition - instead a rather tepid performance saw them fall 2-0 to the French champions.

The result leaves Juventus needing to beat German giants Bayern Munich next month to ensure their qualification for the latter stages of the Champions League.

Speaking after the game, the Brazilian said: "It was a very important game for us and we got it wrong. Something isn't working.

"We have to talk about it and try to grow," he concluded.

Juventus face another road-trip on Sunday when they travel to Cagliari hoping to keep the pressure on current league leaders Inter Milan.
