Coppa Italia Thursday Review
Atalanta crashed out of the Coppa Italia with a 1-0 home defeat by third-tier outfit Lumezzane.
Antonio Conte's side struggled throughout against their visitors from Lombardy and were ultimately undone by Michele Marconi's 19th-minute winner.
Fellow Serie A side Napoli were 1-0 winners over Cittadella. Mariano Bogliacino's 27th-minute goal proved enough for the southerners to edge past their Serie B opponents.
Igor Budan (69, 74) scored twice as Palermo hammered Reggina 4-1 in Sicily. Fabrizio Miccoli's 28th-minute penalty and Edinson Cavani's strike shortly before the hour mark had given Palermo a two-goal advantage.
Sergio Volpi had managed to pull a goal back three minutes after the break.
