Rossi: Away form due to confidence
A lack of confidence is the main problem facing Palermo's players, according to new coach Delio Rossi.
The Rossaneri continued to struggle away from home yesterday, falling 1-0 at Chievo Verona.
The club has collected just four of their 17 points on the road and Rossi, who replaced Walter Zenga at the helm of the Sicilian giants last week, said: "If a team takes few points on their travels it´s not a technical problem but one of confidence and determination.
"If we play as we did yesterday for a longer period, then we will return to winning ways on the road."
At home, it has been a different story for Palermo as they have yet to lose in front of their own fans.
Palermo host Cagliari on Sunday and Rossi saw enough at Chievo to make him optimistic that his 14th-place team will get better.
"We have to work on all aspects of our game, not only on fitness," he said.
"We have lost but I have seen a team that tried to take control of the game."
