Juventus over Inter for Galliani

Juventus over Inter for Galliani

Adriano Galliani shares his thoughts on Milan, his allegiances and what fans should love about the Rossoneri.

AC Milan's vice president, Adriano Galliani admitted that he has a soft spot for Juventus, and that is where his allegiance will lie for the Derby d'Italia between Inter and Juventus.

However, this will only happen if his beloved Milan were to defeat Sampordia, speaking to Gr Parlamento he revealed:

"Should we beat Sampdoria - which is difficult in itself - I will surely support Juventus.

"As a child, I had a soft spot for Juventus. In Brianza, it is this way, but the other team I followed was Milan.

"Never Inter."

But Milan is never far from his mind and it was only soon before he started about the Rossoneri's recent exploits,
"Milan have been on a very good run, but in front of us there is an extraordinary Inter," he remarked.

"We have dreams, like all, but we are not anti-Inter.

"In the last seven games, we have won six and drawn one, without going home empty-handed on any of those occasions.

"We are only thinking about our own side."

Milan's VP was nothing short of being philosophical when he discussed the love fans should have for the Rossoneri:

"They have to love Milan," stated Galliani. "Not the management, or the coach, or a player, but the red and black colours.

"Should this arrive, we will be a grand team."
