Lazion hardman Cristian Ledesma is not on Palermo’s winter shopping list according to their sporting director, Walter Sabatini.

After capturing the services of former Lazio boss, Delio Rossi, speculation has rife that the want away midfielder is due a move to Palermo.

Sabatini however has decided to quash the talk by speaking to TMW:

"The advent of Delio Rossi at Palermo has allowed for this type of hypothesis to occur.

"But I am extinguishing the flame early, because Ledesma is a player who is similar to Fabio Liverani.

"We don't want to cast a shadow over Liverani, and the coach does not need to rip out his hair as to who to play.

"We have Liverani, and are very happy to have him.

"Hopefully, he will stay here for a long time," Sabatini summed up.
