Days after launching his website that updated Francesco Totti’s fans on his doings, someone has already attempted to hack into the site.

According to the website the attack occurred at approximately 11:00pm after reaching an impressive 73,000 unique users attempting to disable the site.

The website, Francescototti.com ran section that reported on the attack: "At approximately 2300 yesterday, we had surpassed 73,000 unique users.

"It is a crazy figure which makes us very proud, as lots of people are supporting the Capitano.

"But idiots have attempted a technological attack, trying to disable the website.

"Luckily, the preventative measures were quickly activated, and the attack was stopped.

"Nothing can stop the Giallorosso star, like on field, as online," it concluded.
