Zamparini claims refereeing conspiracy
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has claimed that they were denied at least 10 penalties this season.
In Napoli,Aurelio De Laurentiis had formerly claimed that there is a 'new Calciopoli' saga brewing and Zamparini has brought the matter up with Corriere Dello Sport, as reported on Novantesimo.it.
"This issue is not one about victims, or attacking teams from the South," he said. "But only illustrating what has occurred.
"For example, in 14 matchdays, Palermo has not had at least 10 penalties given to them by the referee.
"I don't know what De Laurentiis exactly said, but I also agree with him when it occurs to my team.
"Five of those penalties were clearly there, whilst the other five were more difficult, and open to some interpretation.
"But the slow-motion replay clarified the situations in our favour.
"They should have been paid, but were ultimately not," Zamparini summed up.
