Despite the widespread rumours and the links to Inter, Juventus and Roma, manager Delio Rossi knows nothing about Edinson Cavani possibly leaving Palermo.

Rossi has declared that no clubs have come forward or showed any interest in the Brazilian. Speaking at a press conference as reported by Novantesimo.it:

"Has Cavani asked me if he can leave? He hasn't told me.

"During the first few days when I arrived, I spoke with everybody.

"No-one expressed wanting to leave.

"It is useless speaking about football if you are not happy in your current situation.

"I don't believe in what the player agents say, as they are doing another job to mine.

"They have their client's interests as their concern, whereas mine are Palermo's," concluded Rossi.
