Roberto Mancini was pleased to find out that his former assistant coach at Inter, Sinisa Mihajlovic has taken over Catania.

Speaking to itasportpress.it Mancini commented: "I'm happy for Sinisa, who has the ability to return to coach in Serie A after his spell at Bologna.

"He has the charisma and quality to save Catania, despite the current position of the club in the standings.

"Sinisa has two decades of football history behind him and has won everything there is to win during his career. He is a young coach but he is very familiar with tactics."

The press have always highlighted the notion that Mihajlovic is a good motivator with limited tactical knowledge, but Mancini does not agree.

"The enormous pressure of Catania? He is not afraid in any way, he is a Serbian accustomed to Belgrade, where the environment is always heated," summed up Mancini.
