Manchester City are reportedly in talks to take Giampaolo Pazzini to England.

The Sampdoria striker has been in sensational form this season since his switch from Fiorentina, averaging a scoring ratio of one goal every two games.

According to The Sun, new City manager, Roberto Mancini has given a list of players to the board and Pazzini is on the list.

Everyone is predicting a busy January for City with Mancini seemingly keen to bring in a few players who could aid his push for a place in Europe.
