Lazio striker, Mauro Zarate has sensationally claimed that Francesco Totti is over the hill.

Zarate and Totti have been at loggerheads for a while now and the Argentine striker has fired another verbal tirade that is bound to rile the Roma captainb efore their derby game.

Speaking to ESPN Argentina, Zarate declared: "Totti talks too much, but he forgets that he is already finished. I think he hasn't scored in about 10 derbies,

"He is always attacking me, but I tend not to respond to him. I just do what I have to and play to score goals."

Zarate then put the focus on his side's slump this season.

He added: "It's a strange feeling being so far from the top places in the league. We are going through a tough period, but I am always motivated,"
