Juventus gaga for Real's Gago
Juventus are just about ready to offer Real Madrid’s out-of-favour Fernando Gago an escape route.
Il Corriere dello Sport reported that the Bianconeri are interested to recruit Gago during the January transfer window. It helps that the midfielder has big game experience and is an Argentine international, factors that have piqued Juve's interest.
Juve are keen to loan Gago, pay half his transfer fee, and include an option for full purchase at the end of the season.
Despite Manuel Pellegrini keeping him at the fringes a few clubs other than Juventus have surfaced questioning the Argentine's availability, namely, Fiorentina and Everton. Gago, although may want to stay at the Bernabeu and win Pellegrini's favour.
However, with the World Cup approaching, he knows that securing regular football is a priority. Gago's agent reportedly said, "He wants regular playing time ahead of the World Cup.When he does not play, he stays at home and cries."
