Seedorf: We play like the Spanish

Clarence Seedorf reckons AC Milan have morphed into a great team under the guidance of Leonardo.

Milan are sitting comfortably in second spot, eight points behind league leaders Inter Milan but have a game in hand.

Leonardo has adopted a new tactical formation this season with a 4-2-1-3 and has been praised for his methods which have seen Milan steadily improve in the last few months.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Seedorf was full of praise for his coach and team-mates.

He said: "I reckon that Milan are the only tactical novelty in Europe,

"We play like the Spanish teams, but are clinical and efficient like an Italian side.

"When the results were not going our way, we all took our responsibilities. We decided to follow Leonardo's course of action and the match against Chievo was our turning point.

"That's when we realised we could have employed our new system against the little teams too and benefit from it."

2010 will be an exciting year for Milan fans as their team continues to challenge for majors honours in Europe and the Serie A.
