Agent: Milan switch unlikey for Dzeko
VfL Wolfsburg have placed a €40 million price tag on their much sought after striker Edin Dzeko.
The player's agent has confirmed to Tuttomercatoweb that there is a clause in the Bosnian's contract: "He [Dzeko] costs so much, he has a clause of €40 million."
The agent, Silvano Martina, went on to admit that despite the numerous reports suggesting that the striker was on his way out of Wolfsburg, they were no more than rumours.
"I follow it [the rumours] myself, but only in our country. I can say that for him it is premature to speak of the certainty of a transfer."
Queried about a possible AC Milan move involving Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Martina confirmed that there had been interest from the Rossoneri but that it had faded into nothing but hearsay.
However, he did say that a move to Chelsea for Dzeko was still a possibility.
"It's true, Huntelaar may well switch clubs, but I do not know whether Dzeko will take his place or not," Martina declared.
"Milan had actually made a request, but for now they are just rumours. Chelsea? I think not."
