Inter coach Jose Mourinho has slammed Mario Balotelli after he had yet another altercation with the 'Special One'.

Balotelli had reacted angrily after he was taken off during the 1-0 Coppa Italia midweek win over Fiorentina.

After leaving the field of play, the Italian striker threw his gloves on the ground and walked straight past the bench and down the tunnel.

Just moments before his substitution, he had an angry exchange of words with Mourinho. The Inter coach revealed that he was unhappy with Balotelli for not helping the team defend a corner.

“He stayed back to look for a contact lens that had fallen out. He could’ve lost an eye as far as I was concerned, but first of all he had to think of the team that was in danger,” explained Mourinho.

“If Mario is angry, that is his problem. I took him off because the team was struggling to keep hold of the ball.

“In that respect, Goran Pandev and Diego Milito are more intelligent than Mario.”
