Amantino Mancini believes that AC Milan “are on the right track” even though they were held to a 0-0 draw against Bologna.

Mancini made his debut for the Rossoneri in Sunday's game against the Rossoblu, and the draw means that Milan are behind Inter by ten points in the Serie A table.

"I am really happy to be playing again, but my debut didn't bring the result the group had wanted," he told the club's official website.

"The team tried everything, but we were unable to score.

"We are on the right track and I think we can do important things."

Mancini is optimistic that the results will go their way if they continue to work hard.

"We have been working hard in training and now we have to continue like this," he added.

"We must maintain this will and attitude because all we need now is a good result."
