Cannavaro plays down injury fears
Fabio Cannavaro has dismissed reports that he is set to miss some games for Juventus after getting hurt in the draw against Livorno.
The Amaranto wrote the next sorry chapter in Juve's season by holding them to a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Armando Picchi.
"It should not be anything serious, just a bit of fatigue in my right flexor muscle," the Italian international told the club's official website.
The veteran defender is set to undergo more scans this week to determine whether he can play in next Sunday's home game against Genoa, with the Bianconeri desperate for their first win in February.
"Unfortunately, injuries have never allowed us to play three or four games with the same starting XI," noted Cannavaro.
"Now the most important thing is to get everyone back up and running and, of course, to get a victory which is what we need the most.
"We must keep working hard during the week like we have been doing. We just need to get results. We get punished on the first chance we concede of late, but at least we came from behind at Livorno.
"That was a positive thing and we must start over from this and look ahead."
