Juve's Melo looking to South Africa
Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo believes he must to well with Juventus to make it to Brazil's World Cup squad.
Melo is desperate to be on the plane to South Africa, believing that the World Cup is the ultimate achievement for any player.
"The World Cup is the culmination of a player's career. Getting into the national team is the maximum, the most a player can ask for," he told Globoesporte.
"I think about it even when I sleep, and of course when I'm awake. But during those times I also think about Juventus, because ultimately it is the club that give me my bread."
"It's very simple. If you do well for your club, you can make it on to the national team. The two go together."
Melo has praised coach Dunga's role in reviving the Brazilian national team after a poor 2006 World Cup campaign. The South American giants won the 2009 Confederation Cup under Dunga's tutelage and look be in good form heading into the summer.
"Dunga is the piece that the Selecao were lacking. We have a team that plays well, scores many goals and leaves it's mark. He has succeeded in bringing so many different qualities together in the same team," explained Melo.
