Sissoko: Rafa is a great manager

If Rafael Benitez takes over Juventus next season, Momo Sissoko will have no problems with his ex-Liverpool boss.

Benitez has been linked with the hot-seat at Juventus and there are reports insisting that the Spaniard will join the Old Lady next season. Althought Alberto Zaccheroni has been installed as the new coach at Juventus, it has not stopped the rumours concerning Benitez.

It is a well-known fact that Liverpool are struggling for transfer funds and are also striving for results in the Premier League.

If the target of a top four finish is not met this season, Benitez's tenure at Anfield is believed to be coming to an end.

Sissoko insists he will have no hard feelings if Benitez do become the next Juventus coach.

The Mali international has played under Benitez twice. He first played for Benitez at Valencia and he later followed the Spaniard to Liverpool. The midfielder was then offloaded to Juventus in 2008.

"Rafa is a great manager," said the African midfielder.

"He gave me the chance to play at Valencia and I won the title there with him. Now we have Alberto Zaccheroni, but in football you never know what is going to happen.

"I have already changed boss twice. If Rafa comes, for me there will be no problems.

"When he coached me the first time I was just a young player. Now I am older and more experienced..."

However, the future of the Old Lady is yet to be decided, still Momo is not concerned.

"I believe it will be an important future, because Juve are a great club.

"We are a big team in the world and I hope next season Juve will return to being successful.

"I am sad about this season. After the game against Bordeaux the morale went down. The fans are against us but that's just normal. They want to see us winning and I am determined to help the team out of this crisis."
