Adriano would like to play with Totti
Former Inter Milan striker Adriano has not ruled out a return to Italy, saying he would love to play with Francesco Totti.
Adriano, who currently plays for Brazilian football club Flamengo, left Inter Milan halfway through the last season, citing personal problems.
There was speculation that he had a falling out with coach Jose Mourinho after reports of the footballer's partying ways surfaced in the media. However, the 28-year-old has denied the reports saying that he is still fond of his former side.
"When I see Inter play, I still cheer for them," he revealed on Sky TG 24.
"I had no problems with Mourinho. He helped me a lot. He treated me well and sometimes badly if he wanted to stimulate me."
Adriano also claimed that he had been in talks with Roma at one point of time and might consider returning to Italy if it meant a chance to link-up with club legend Totti.
"Did I try to join Roma? Yes, I had talked with them, but right now I'm only thinking about Flamengo and the World Cup. But after that I may return to Italy. Certainly, Rome is a great city with a great team. I'd like to play with Francesco Totti."
