Luca Toni wants Roma stay
On loan striker Luca Toni says he wants his move from Bayern Munich to AS Roma to become permanent at the end of the season.
Toni moved to Italy from Germany during the January transfer window following a slew of altercations with Bayern manager Louis van Gaal.
He has scored thrice in six games for the Italian team since his move and wants a deal that will see him become a permanent member of the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
Speaking to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Toni said: "At the end of the year I will talk with Bayern and Roma, but I don't think there will be any problems in finding an agreement."
Speaking on Roma's title chances, Toni conceded that his side blew a golden opportunity to make up good ground on leaders Inter Milan over the weekend.
Inter were defeated 3-1 by Catania in a shock result but Roma could only manage a 3-3 draw against lowly Livorno.
"We threw away two points, a win would have completely re-opened the title race," said Toni.
"Now we have to win all our games and keep hoping."
