Ronaldinho's AC Milan future is in doubt with former teammate David Beckham pressing the Brazilian to join him in the MLS.
The LA Galaxy star, who played alongside Ronaldinho during his brief loan spells with the Italian club, is pressing the Brazlian about a potential move to the MLS.
The 2-time world player of the year would join a host of other major stars who have moved stateside, including French striker Thierry Henry who joined the New York Red Bulls last week.
This news comes as the playmaker's agent and brother, Roberto De Assis, announced that Milan have offered the 30-year old a new improved deal, extending his current contract which expires in 2011.
Ronaldinho will now sit down with Milan's CEO Adriano Galliani to discuss the deal, but De Assis claims a move abroad is still a possibility.
"Milan have proposed a new deal until 2013 and we said we will speak about this in December," he claimed in an interview with Calcionews24.com.
"Nothing has changed for us. We will not talk with other clubs if Milan maintain their line. We have good relations with Milan, and my brother wants to remain there.
"The MLS? We met many people in the USA and for sure Beckham is pressing for 'Dinho to move there soon."
Talks between the two parties are set to begin on Sunday, in Milan.
