Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso has heaped praises on Jose Mourinho but insists Rafael Benitez can match his achievements.

With equal high praise for his new manager, Cambiasso is adamant Benitez's experience in Spain and England will help him towards equaling the feat of the Special One last season.

Benitez took over at the helm of Inter after departing from his former club Liverpool and fully understands the arduous task on his hands.

But Cambiasso finds no reason why Benitez can't be as successful as his former boss.

"Benitez? I met him eight times in Spain and we won a Scudetto (sic) each, but the last game against him he won in the Champions League," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport's SportWeek insert.

"He has done well wherever he has been, and for sure he is one of the best in Europe - like Jose Mourinho."
