Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder is eager to see Dutch team-mate Dirk Kuyt at the San Siro.

The Liverpool midfielder is reportedly close to a £13million move that will see him not only reunite with Sneijder, but also with former mentor Rafael Benitez.

Sneijder and Kuyt helped the Netherlands to reach the 2010 World Cup final, which they eventually lost to Spain.

Now the Inter star hopes they can join forces again at club level.

Speaking to Corriere Dello Sport, he said: "With him it's like playing with 12 and not 11 players.

"Kuyt is always running for two and with the work that he does he's always vital, whether for the national team or Liverpool."
