Juventus forward Amauri will be sidelined for almost a month with a muscular injury in his left leg.

The Brazil-born player sustained the injury during Thursday's 1-0 Europa League play-off triumph over Sturm Graz.

Tests done today revealed the player has a muscle tear and will be out of action for 25 days, the club confirmed.

Amauri will miss the opening four Serie A games and will also sit out the first game of the Europa League group stage.

The imminent arrival of Italian forward Fabio Quagliarella from Napoli will be a relief for coach Luigi Del Neri considering Amauri's injury.

Quagliarella's transfer to the Turin giants is expected to be completed later today.
