Udinese insist Gokhan Inler will not join Inter Milan today, despite reports in the Italian media suggesting otherwise.

The midfielder has been a reported target of the Serie A champions but the Switzerland international will stay put.

"Between Inter and us, there have been no negotiations regarding Inler's transfer," said Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini.

"Inler is an Udinese player and there are no reasons to think that he will leave."

Inler, who made 29 league appearances for Udinese last season, is under contract until June 2012.
