Sneijder reaffirms commitment to Inter

Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder has pledged his future to the club in light of increasing speculation over his future.

While the Dutch international's talent has garnered him many admirers across Europe, it is Barclays Premier League champions Manchester United who have been keeping a keen eye on him in recent times.

With United veteran Paul Scholes likely to retire at the end of this season, manager Sir Alex Ferguson is keen on bringing a replacement for him in the centre of midfield.

After Sneijder's agent Soren Lerby played down rumours of a prospective move to United earlier this week, the Dutchman himself has now come out to reassure Inter that he is keen on staying at the club.

"Next season? I'll be here," Sneijder said, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Having lost out in the Serie A title race to city rivals AC Milan this season, Inter are preparing for one final bid to end their campaign with a trophy, when they face Palermo in the Coppa Italia final.

Sneijder insists the match is the only thing on his mind at present.

"I've been training with the squad without any problems.

"I'll certainly be there against Palermo.

"I want to play and win the Coppa Italia so that we can end the season in a good manner."

Sneijder joined Inter from Real Madrid in the summer of 2009 and has already clocked up over appearances in the last two season.
