Inter set to discuss Kucka future

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi says he will meet Inter Milan representatives at the end of the season in order to sort out the future of midfielder Juraj Kucka.

The Slovakia international is co-owned by the two clubs and could join Inter in the summer.

Kucka actually nearly joined the Nerazzurri in the January transfer window but at the last minute it was agreed by both parties that the player would remain at the Luigi Ferraris until the end of the campaign.

"Kucka to Inter? We will speak again in June because we have a co-ownership with Inter and we must discuss it," Preziosi told Corriere dello Sport.

"The boy understood that he would remain with us until June and I'm counting on him to behave well in this period."

Genoa signed Kucka from Sparta Praha for a reported €3.6 million fee back in January last year before Inter acquired half of the player's contract around six months later.

Meanwhile, Genoa will be without striker Alberto Gilardino for Sunday's game at Catania.

Gilardino sustained a muscular injury in last weekend's 3-2 triumph over Udinese - Genoa's third win in four games.
