Inter plan move for Mancini
Inter Milan's Marco Branca has admitted that talks are underway to bring winger Amantino Mancini to the club.
The Brazilian has long been linked with a move north and could become the first signing of the Jose Mourinho era at the San Siro.
Mancini is reported to have fallen out with Roma coach Luciano Spalletti, a fact which could increase the chances of a move away from the Stadio Olimpico.
"I will not be meeting the player's agent today but Roma have given us permission to talk with him at the end of the week," Branca told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"Mancini is a player that we are interested in and we have also spoken to Roma about other players who may be available."
The Nerazzuri are expected to offer Mancini a substantial deal to convince him to make the move.
Once terms are agreed with Mancini himself, Inter are expected to offer Roma around 23 million dollars for the winger, the price that the club has asked for.
However, reports in Italy have suggested that Inter may instead offer less money for Mancini and offer Julio Cruz, David Suazo or Hernan Crespo as part of the deal, as new manager Jose Mourinho clears room for new signings.
