New AC Milan player, Ronaldinho, gave his first press conference yesterday following a presentation in Milan.

A unique event was organized to welcome Ronaldinho with more than 30 thousand fans turning up to see their new idol don the red and black striped jersey for the very first time.

"This is a special emotion for me, a unique moment in my career," said 'Dinho'. "Every player would like to play with Milan."

He also had a little something to say about his former club Barcelona but it was all positive thoughts:"They were important years, during which we won some important trophies together, but in the last period things didn't go well and it was right to separate."

When quizzed about his link up with fellow compatriot Kaka, the playmaker said: "We are close friends, it's true. We have always done well together in the Seleçao. He's great and together we will have fun."

With the long protracted transfer solved, the only thing yet to be decided is the number on the back of his new shirt. Milan has not made a decision on what number to give him but it will probably be ten or twenty-three.
