Ronnie's Milan number revealed
New Rossoneri idol Ronaldinho has plumped for the unglamorous jersey number of 80 after failing to land his coveted No. 10.
With current incumbent Clarence Seedorf refusing to budge from his stance of releasing his No. 10 in order to accommodate Ronnie despite talks with Milan officials, the Brazilian superstar has decided to go via the unconventional route.
With virtually all of Ronaldinho’s best footballing moments encapsulated with the highly sacred number 10 figure behind his back, his new number will more than raise a few eyebrows.
Another even bizarre aspect was the fact that Ronaldinho snubbed the vacant number 11 jersey which was made available after striker Alberto Gilardino left for Fiorentina.
Ronaldinho's motive for his decision to opt with the number 80 stems from that fact that the Brazilian wizard was born in 1980.
