Inter boss Jose Mourinho has responded to fans’ whistles after conducting a training session behind closed doors.

The former Chelsea coach surprised the Nerazzurri hardcore after barring fans from watching yesterday’s training session, which irked a number of fans who made the journey to Brunico specially to catch their heroes in action.

Despite suffering his first boos from fans, Mourinho, who was not really perturbed by the negative reaction, diplomatically explained his rational to the Inter fanatics.

"I have a lot of respect for the fans, in fact also last week at Appiano we had an open training for the people," he said.

"But I know that along with the many Inter fans who have come here to transmit their affection, there are many coaches and scouts of other teams, which might be our opponents over the course of next season.”

"Since we wanted to try some tactical situations on dead ball situations for the first time, considering that tomorrow we are playing our first friendly, I decided to have the training session behind closed doors. This is the only reason of this choice and the Inter fans should know it."
