No support for France's Domenech

French Football Federation president Jean-Pierre Escalettes has refused to back Les Bleus coach Raymond Domenech.

French Football Federation president Jean-Pierre Escalettes has failed to back Les Bleus coach Raymond Domenech to remain in his job following a 2-2 draw with Romania.

Domenech was given the first three games of World Cup qualifying to prove himself following a disappointing campaign at Euro 2008, but in that time the controversial coach has managed a haul of just four points.

France got off to a bad start in Group Seven with a 3-1 defeat to Austria, and then followed that with an unconvincing 2-1 win over Serbia four days later.

And after coming from two goals down to draw their third game, Escalettes would only reveal that no decision would be taken on Domenech's future until after the friendly game with Tunisia on Tuesday.

"We'll see," he told French television station TF1. "The federal council meeting is on the 15th (Wednesday) which is not too far away.

"We have to concentrate on Tuesday's match against Tunisia. Then we will see the decisions the council will take."
