South Africa welcome Japan

Japan will play 2010 World Cup hosts South Africa in Durban on November 14 in an international friendly.

This game is expected to be held as the curtain-raiser for the newly-built 70,000 seater Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Takeshi Okada's side were initially scheduled to play Hong Kong in a 2011 Asian Cup qualifier on that date however that game has been moved forward to October 8 as the Japan coach wants his players to take on a strong side as a warm-up to the World Cup.

"It's going to be a good occasion for our players and team staff members to experience what things are like in South Africa ahead of the finals," said Okada.
